The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District (Corps) is issuing this notice to advise Federal, State and local governmental agencies and the public that the Corps is withdrawing the Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Kennecott ( printed page 26277) Tailings Impoundment Expansion Project in Salt Lake County, Utah, which was published in the Federal Register on March 17, 2023.

The notice of intent to prepare an EIS published in the Federal Register on March 17, 2023 (88 FR 16418), is withdrawn as of June 20, 2025.
