A left-wing trans-identified male who serves on the local council for the city of Stevenson, Washington, was recently questioned as well as investigated over indecent exposure as the official was in a protest on "Transgender Day of Visibility." The official argued that going topless was a "First Amendment right."

Senior editor at The Post Millennial, Andy Ngo, reported on the incident where Lucy Esther Joan Lauser, previously known as Matthew Lauser, committed the act on March 31 but has not been charged with any crime.

A report from the sheriff's office said that the department had gotten a tip from someone who said that "a 'female protester' was standing on the sidewalk exposing her 'chest'" in public on the sidewalk. Officers approached and questioned Lauser. When Lauser was asked to cover up, the city councilman declined and said that displaying the "breasts as an act of protesting was not considered obscene," the report said. "Lauser advised she was expressing her First Amendment Right by exposing her breasts," police added in the report.

"Lauser's chair was facing south, making Lauser visible to all vehicles driving west and east on Southwest Second Street, as well as people walking down both sides of the sidewalk surrounding Second Street. Both of Lauser's breasts were completely visible and not blocked or obstructed by any clothing. Additionally, Lauser had the message 'MY BODY IS NOT A SIN' written on her skin across her upper chest area," the police report said.

Lauser was protesting for Transgender Day of Visibility, the police report recorded, and Lauser "believed it was her legal right to expose her breasts to the public," the report said in summary. Ngo reported, "Lauser is known for going on rants at city council meetings about transphobia. He previously wrote about becoming obsessed with transitioning after going to a sex club in Portland, Ore. while cross-dressing."

In addition to the indecent exposure investigation, Lauser has posted a number of nude images and videos online. Lauser used the screen name "EstherJenValerat" in order to make the lewd posts. One video that was posted online showed a video with the caption "trans girl masturbating."

Ngo also reported that "archives show he is a militant Trantifa extremist and talked about treating all Republicans as "Nazis" who cannot be debated with (a suggestion for violence)."
