They Won't 'Say A Word': Jimmy Kimmel Nails Republicans On Biggest Trump Hypocrisy

1 month ago 2

Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday wondered if rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is on trial for alleged sex trafficking, would buy a pardon from President Donald Trump if convicted.

“Would anybody be surprised by that?” he asked. “Trump right now is selling the presidency like it’s a Kardashian Instagram page.”

He noted that Trump this week is hosting a private dinner for the top 220 holders of his memecoin.

“An intimate gathering for 220 scumbags,” Kimmel said, adding that many are foreigners trying to buy influence by purchasing the president’s coin.

“It’s so much more convenient than backing a U-Haul full of gold bars up to Mar-a-Lago,” Kimmel said, and noted that one watchdog organization called it the most “nakedly corrupt self-enrichment scheme” in U.S. presidential history.

Kimmel said Trump has made billions of dollars off crypto, and buyers spent some $140 million to get in on his special dinner.

“Which is pretty impressive for a guy who thinks crypto is where they buried the pope,” Kimmel said.

He called out Trump’s GOP enablers for hypocrisy.

“None of these Republicans who screamed bloody murder about the ‘Biden crime family’ say a word about the sitting president raking in cash like he’s a craps dealer at Caesars Palace,” he said.
