Stephen Miller Tells Fox News To Fire Its Pollster In Icy Live TV Moment

1 month ago 2

Top Trump adviser Stephen Miller told Fox News’ John Roberts — live on air — that the conservative network needs to fire its pollster after it showed low polling numbers for President Donald Trump.

Roberts pointed out how Trump is polling “about even on immigration in total” but “is sort of underwater” on other issues. “Particularly on the economy, tariffs and inflation, he’s well underwater,” he added.

“You still have some work to do on that front,” Roberts told Miller, the Trump White House deputy chief of staff for policy.

“A lot of people think that he’s spending too much time on tariffs and not enough time on the economy and lowering prices. What do you say?” Roberts asked.

“I don’t want to make things awkward for you, John, but it is our opinion that Fox News needs to fire its pollster,” Miller calmly fired back.

“I won’t surprise you with that,” the anti-immigration hardliner continued. “I don’t think you are surprised I’m saying that, but the Fox News pollster has always been wrong about President Trump.”

He added, “They were the ones that said all summer long that Kamala Harris is gonna be the 47th president of the United States, so we don’t acknowledge any of that polling.” Watch the exchange above.

Later in the show, Roberts defended the network’s polling.

“You might have been watching earlier when Stephen Miller joined us here on ‘America Reports.’ He made a remark that was critical of our polling but here at Fox News we stand by our polling as we always have,” he said.
