School employee arrested after sending nude photos to 14-year-old boy in upstate NY: police

A now-fired employee of a school in upstate New York has been hit with felony charges after police say she sent nudes to a 14-year-old boy.

Anamaria Milazzo, 22, a now former employee for the Greater Southern Tier Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES), was arrested earlier this week after she was reported for allegedly sending nude photos to a 14-year-old boy.

Police said in a statement online, "The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of ANAMARIA E. MILAZZO, a 22-year-old female from the Town of Elmira, for Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors in the Second Degree, a class E Felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor.”

"On June 9, 2025, a School Resource Officer assigned to the Greater Southern Tier BOCES received a complaint alleging MILAZZO sent indecent material to a minor," the post continued. "The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division assisted with the investigation. During the investigation, the Criminal Division learned that over a three-month period, MILAZZO had sent nude photographs of herself to a 14-year-old male."

Despite the felony charge, police stated that “Milazzo was issued a ticket and will appear in the Wellsburg Village Court at a later date.” GST BOCES confirmed her employment at a facility in Chemung County but declined to disclose her job title or the dates of her employment, according to WETM.

Officials confirmed that she has been fired from her role. The 14-year-old boy has not been identified, and it remains unknown whether he attended the same BOCES facility where Milazzo had worked.
