Louis Prevost — the self-described “MAGA-type” older brother of new Pope Leo XIV — and his wife, Deborah, met Tuesday with President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance at the White House.
They had a “great meeting,” White House aide Margo Martin wrote on social media.
It’s not clear what they talked about.
“Sometimes I like to go stir the pot,” he confessed to Piers Morgan last week. “A lot like I think President Trump does. He says things just to stir the pot. Cause it’s fun to like get into some of these debates with people sometimes from the other side.”

U.S. Navy veteran Prevost, who lives in Florida, did tell Morgan that he’d be dialing the rhetoric down following his sibling’s election to pontiff.
“I don’t need to create heat for him,” he said.
Conversely, the new pope, the first born in the U.S., has previously shared posts that slam Trump and Vance.
Louis Prevost sat next to second lady Usha Vance and her husband, the vice president, a Catholic convert, during the pope’s inaugural Mass at the Vatican on Sunday. During the Mass, Leo urged the rejection of hatred and division. Louis also joined the U.S. delegation’s meeting with the pope on Monday.
JD Vance has invited the pope to visit the United States on an official trip.
