New Report Reveals Just How Little Time Melania Trump Spends At White House

Melania Trump has reportedly taken a remote approach to her role as first lady during the first weeks of her husband Donald Trump’s second term.

According to a New York Times report published Wednesday, the first lady “does not really live in Washington” and “vanishes from view for weeks at a time.”

Sources told the outlet she has spent less than 14 days at the White House since her husband was inaugurated 108 days ago.

Instead, Melania has reportedly remained largely at the Trump residences of Trump Tower in Manhattan, New York, or Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, and has been filming a documentary about her life that she has licensed to Amazon for a reported $40 million.

At the start of Trump’s first term, Melania delayed moving to the White House to stay in New York and support their son Barron’s schooling.
