Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany on Monday dared critics to “clip” and send viral her latest effusive praise of President Donald Trump.
They did, before swiftly mocking her remarks.
McEnany, who served as Trump’s White House press secretary during his first term, hyped up Trump’s boast that he’d helped broker a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, despite the agreement’s shaky footing.
“So, rather than World War III, we may get more peace and rather than 34 felony counts, President Trump may end up with 34 Nobel Peace Prizes,” she declared.
Then came her taunt: “That is for the leftists. You can clip this and make it go viral, and go nuts.”
The Republicans Against Trump group shared the clip on X, formerly Twitter, with a clown emoji.
Detractors called McEnany’s comment “delusional” and likened it to propaganda from North Korea’s state-run media. They also reminded her that the 34 felony convictions that Trump was slapped with over his hush money trial won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.
And I might end up with 34 Oscars for watching Netflix. Kayleigh’s spin game is strong, but turning felony indictments into Nobel prizes? That’s next-level fantasy politics.
— Robert Morton (@Robert4787) June 24, 2025Still wouldn't be "rather than." He does and will always have 34 felonies that he has been found guilty of.
— OG Vault (@OG_Vault) June 24, 2025He will certainly qualify for the Nobel Prize for lying
— peter mcbride (@pcmcbride16) June 24, 2025There's no "rather than"... nothing will make those felonies go away.
