The university is accusing the Trump administration of trying to circumvent a previous court order blocking the revocation of its foreign student visa program.
Harvard University filed a legal claim against the Trump administration on June 5, asking a federal judge to block the president’s proclamation barring foreign student enrollment at the Ivy League institution.
The amended complaint, filed on Thursday, is the latest move in Harvard’s battle with the government after President Donald Trump earlier this year revoked the university’s federal funding over allegations of on-campus anti-Semitism and a continuation of the school’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies.
