Jimmy Kimmel said he thinks he knows why President Donald Trump left this week’s G7 summit early.
And it wasn’t because of the growing crisis in the Middle East.
“He decided to cut out a day early,” Kimmel said. “Poor Melania. She thought she had one more night.”
French President Emmanuel Macron said Trump left because he was working on a truce between Israel and Iran. Trump lashed out at Macron on Truth Social, calling him “publicity seeking” and “Wrong!”
Kimmel spotted a moment from the meeting that he thinks may have set Trump off: when Macron whispered something to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who then rolled her eyes.
Kimmel thinks they were talking about Trump.
“Look at that,” Kimmel said, showing the footage. “That had to be about him, right?”
