Proposed rule; request for comments.
DOE is proposing to rescind the energy conservation standards for microwave ovens. The rescission will eliminate the efficiency requirements for microwave ovens.
Comments: Comments must be received on or before July 15, 2025.
Meeting: DOE will hold a webinar on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. See section III, “Public Participation,” for webinar registration information, participant instructions, and information about the capabilities available to webinar participants.
