“Dilbert” comic strip creator Scott Adams, 67, revealed on Monday that he has the same type of cancer that former President Joe Biden has and that he expects to die some time this summer.
Adams revealed his diagnosis on the streaming site Rumble, which is popular among far-right users.
“I’ve decided that today’s the day that I’m going to take the opportunity ― since a lot of you are here ― to make an announcement of my own,” Adams said. “Some of you have already guessed, so this won’t surprise you all, but I have the same cancer that Joe Biden has.”
Biden’s office announced Sunday that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer last week, characterizing it as “a more aggressive form of the disease” that had metastasized to his bones. Biden’s Gleason score, a metric doctors use to track how the advancement of a prostate cancer diagnosis, is high, indicating that the disease can grow quickly and is more likely to spread.
Adams said he likely has a life expectancy of a few months.

“I’ve had it longer than he’s had it. Well, longer than he’s admitted having it,” Adams said, referring to Biden. “So my life expectancy is maybe this summer. I expect to be checking out from this domain sometime this summer.”
Adams described experiencing excruciating pain every day, saying he doesn’t have any “good days” and needs to use a walker to move around.
“Every day is a nightmare, and evening is even worse,” he said.
Adams has been publishing “Dilbert,” a comic strip that satires office culture, since 1989. Numerous news outlets ceased publishing it in 2023 after he made racist comments calling Black people members of a “hate group” and said that “the best advice I would give to white people is to get the hell away from Black people.”

Adams is also an avowed supporter of President Donald Trump, once comparing him to Jesus.
Despite his political differences with Biden, Adams offered his well wishes to the former president.
“I’d like to extend my respect and compassion and sympathy for the ex-president and his family, because they’re going to be going through an especially tough time,” he said.
